Mobile interface
The system has a dedicated mobile interface optimized for smartphones and tablets. It opens automatically when you sign in from a mobile device — no separate address or app is required. The interface is designed for one-handed use: a full-screen map and slide-out panels instead of the multi-column layout of the desktop version.
File: /img/mobile/overview.png (demo company, no personal data)
Content: general view of the mobile tracking screen — the map, the bottom panel with the object
list, and the top bar with the menu button.
Navigation
A bar with the current section title and a menu button (☰) is shown at the top of the screen. Tapping it opens the side menu listing the sections (the set depends on the user's access rights):
- Tracking — monitoring objects on the map (see Tracking);
- Reports — building reports (see Reports);
- Geozones — geozone list and visibility (see Geozones);
- Settings — personal display settings (see Settings);
- Logout — ends the session; the current user's name is shown next to it.
A loading indicator is shown until the user profile has loaded.
What the mobile interface contains
- Tracking — map, object list, status and history of the selected object.
- Object history — the object's daily timeline (parkings, movement, fuelings, drains).
- Geozones — managing geozone and group visibility on the map.
- Reports — building a report from a template for a period.
- Settings — language, time zone, units, map layer, on-map labels.
The basic concepts (object, geozone, track, event) are the same as in the desktop version — see Introduction.
