Mobile interface

The system has a dedicated mobile interface optimized for smartphones and tablets. It opens automatically when you sign in from a mobile device — no separate address or app is required. The interface is designed for one-handed use: a full-screen map and slide-out panels instead of the multi-column layout of the desktop version.

Screenshot needed

File: /img/mobile/overview.png (demo company, no personal data) Content: general view of the mobile tracking screen — the map, the bottom panel with the object list, and the top bar with the menu button.

A bar with the current section title and a menu button (☰) is shown at the top of the screen. Tapping it opens the side menu listing the sections (the set depends on the user's access rights):

  • Tracking — monitoring objects on the map (see Tracking);
  • Reports — building reports (see Reports);
  • Geozones — geozone list and visibility (see Geozones);
  • Settings — personal display settings (see Settings);
  • Logout — ends the session; the current user's name is shown next to it.

A loading indicator is shown until the user profile has loaded.

What the mobile interface contains

  • Tracking — map, object list, status and history of the selected object.
  • Object history — the object's daily timeline (parkings, movement, fuelings, drains).
  • Geozones — managing geozone and group visibility on the map.
  • Reports — building a report from a template for a period.
  • Settings — language, time zone, units, map layer, on-map labels.

The basic concepts (object, geozone, track, event) are the same as in the desktop version — see Introduction.
